To-of-the-list candidate in 26th multi-member constituency (MIR) Samakov of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) Atanas Slavov met with supporters in the town of Svoge, he wrote in a Facebook post on his profile on Thursday. 

He pointed out that the people asked whether there would be a regular government. "It is high time to end the series of elections and we have a proposal for a formula. But the government cannot be whatever it is, it must continue reforms, continue the fight against corruption, reform the judiciary and security systems and continue efforts for a fuller integration of our country into the European Union by joining Schengen and the eurozone," Slavov said.

The second question is how to fight corruption and injustice. Slavov stressed that only the election of independent, proven professionals with proven integrity can lead to a real fight against corruption. "The election of people with corrupt affiliations to the anti-corruption commission and to senior positions in the prosecution is a guarantee of maintaining the status quo and even worsening the situation. People like Delyan Peevski and those dependent on him, who now enjoy an umbrella and even use the authorities as a bat against opponents, are trying to reload themselves through the election of a new Prosecutor General and a new President of the Supreme Administrative Court, but this should not be allowed," he noted.
