"We have repeatedly expressed our arguments against the hasty legislation proposed by Continue the Change (CC)," the GERB party said on its official page on Facebook.

The latest example of this are the constitutional amendments, which have created more problems than solutions, the party said.

Earlier on Saturday, CC Co-chair Kiril Petkov told journalists that his party would send a "gentleman's letter" to GERB urging for the current Parliament to pass anti-corruption legislation related to the Recovery and Resilience Plan money.

"We notice how CC's campaign is blowing all opportunities for talks on [the formation of] a regular government and political stability," GERB said. "We refuse this type of dialogue. GERB will work for and not against," the party added.

A few days ago, GERB leader Boyko Borissov suggested that politicians should start thinking how they will govern after the elections and about a "gentlemen's agreement".

On Friday, Vassilev called on GERB to adopt the laws on the Recovery and Resilience Plan in the remaining days of the 50th National Assembly.
