Caretaker Justice Minister Mariya Pavlova will participate in the Informal Conference of the Ministers of Justice of the Council of Europe in Vilnius, Lithuania, on September 4 and 5, Pavlova’s ministry said in a press release on Wednesday. The conference is titled "Towards accountability for international crimes committed in Ukraine" and will be held under the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers.

The conference will focus on key issues of international criminal justice regarding accountability for core international crimes committed in and against Ukraine.

The conference aims to explore ways in which the Council of Europe and its member states can significantly strengthen their support for the Ukrainian justice system and strengthen the international legal order.
