site.btaGrigor Dimitrov Advances to US Open Quarterfinals

Best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov advanced to the quarterfinals of the US Open championships, after defeating Andrey Rublev in a five-set match, 6-3, 7-6 (3), 1-6, 3-6, 6-3 in three hours and forty minutes. 

By reaching the quarterfinal Dimitrov gained 400 points in the world rankings and USD 455,000 in prize money. This is Dimitrov’s second US Open quarterfinal after 2019 when he lost to Daniil Medvedev after overcoming Roger Federer. 

Dimitrov will face Frances Tiafoe in the quarterfinal.
