The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) honorary leader Ahmed Dogan has been assigned protection detail from the National Service for Protection and the Interior Ministry after the Ministry was signalled by the State Agency for National Security on August 28, said the Ministry on Friday.
Movement for Rights and Freedoms Chairman Dzhevdet Chakarov had submitted an alert in connection with MRF honorary leader Ahmed Dogan.
A check has established that the facts and circumstances laid out in the alert are incorrect.
The findings of the probe have been sent to the prosecution service.
Earlier on Friday Interior Minister Atanas Ilkov said that a commission will review whether there is any security risk for MRF Honorary Chair Ahmed Dogan.
