The caretaker government is expected to take an oath in office before Parliament on Tuesday. President Rumen Radev said that in the morning he would issue a decree appointing the government proposed by prime minister-designate Dimitar Glavchev.

On Monday, Glavchev presented the structure and composition of the caretaker. Three ministers were replaced in the new cabinet - of foreign affairs, of the interior, and of transport and communications.

“I will issue a decree scheduling the early parliamentary elections on October 27”, Rumen Radev further said. “I would like to congratulate you for heeding to the calls and expectations of the society to ease political tensions and ensure safeguards for holding fair and free elections,” , the Head of State said.
