site.btaBulgarian, International Performers to Take Part in Kazanlak Jazz Fest 2024

Bulgarian and international performers will take part in this year's edition of Kazanlak Jazz Fest which will take place in front of Kazanlak Thracian tomb, the municipality of Kazanlak said in a press release on Monday. The concerts will take place between September 5 and September 7.

At the festival's opening night, jazz fusion formation Four of a kind will take the stage, and on the second night, the audience will have the opportunity to hear Alexander Lekov New Quartet's new album Journey, as well as performances by Steve Hamilton Quartet.

The festival's closing concert will be dedicated to the centenary of the founding of the Kremona stringed instrument factory. At the start of the evening, local guitarists will present the factory's production. In the second part, the audience will hear the rock band Affection performs.

There will also be jazz performances in the courtyard of the Chudomir Literature and Art Museum on September 8, the municipal press centre added. The residents and guests of Kazanlak will have the opportunity to start the their Sunday with Breakfast on the grass with the participation of the Acoustic Jazz Trio from Dimitrovgrad band.

The Jazz Fest is a part of the Festivals in the Valley of the Thracian Kings. Its 2024 edition was symbolically opened with The Armour of the Thracian Warriors exhibition in the Cultural Information Centre of Kazanlak.
