site.btaVMZ Sopot Ordnance Plant to Carry Out Destruction of Scrapped Ammunition on Friday

Controlled destruction of scrapped ammunition and other explosive materials dropped from the production process at the state-owned VMZ Sopot ordnance plant is scheduled to be carried out at the Anevo range on Friday, the company reported on its website on Thursday.

VMZ Sopot's operational management has notified the relevant institutions in the municipalities of Karlovo and Sopot in advance and assures local residents that there is no cause for concern.

VMZ Sopot produces mainly anti-tank missiles, artillery ammunition, unguided aviation missiles and fuzes.
