Emerging from a meeting with President Rumen Radev on Wednesday morning, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev told journalists that if the President chooses him as a candidate for the next caretaker prime minister, Glavchev is ready to do so and there are no obstacles to that.
Asked whether or not he would have Kalin Stoyanov in a possible second caretaker government, he said., "We have not commented on such a topic. We discussed general matters."
It was over the presence of Stoyanov in a caretaker cabinet proposal put forward by Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva that President Radev refused to decree its appointment.
The presidential press secretariat said on Tuesday that the head of State would hold meetings and talks with the persons identified in Article 99, paragraph 5 of the Constitution who could be appointed as caretaker prime minister.
