site.btaDeputy Foreign Minister Kondov Confers with New Danish Ambassador Stender

Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov received copies of the letters of credence of the Ambassador-designate of Denmark, Flemming Stender, here on Thursday, Kondov's Ministry said in a press release.

The sides commended highly the state of bilateral relations and committed to deepening and upgrading Bulgarian-Danish partnership in all spheres of shared interest.

They discussed the significance of investments for better transport and energy connectivity in the region. Kondov thanked Denmark for its consistent support for Bulgaria's foreign-policy priorities and the political dialogue maintained at all levels.

The conversation also covered questions concerning Bulgaria's accession to the OECD, the eurozone and land-border Schengen and the arrangements for the forthcoming early parliamentary elections.
