The Bulgarian National Audit Office (BNAO) has published the reports on the financial resources raised and spent and the payment obligations assumed in connection with the campaign for the early parliamentary elections and European Parliament elections which were held simultaneously on June 9, 2024.

All political parties, coalitions and independent candidate nomination committees that contested both types of elections submitted their reports to BNAO within the statutory time limit by July 19, 2024, i.e. up to 30 working days after polling day.

Twenty parties and eleven coalitions, or 31 contestants in total, entered the elections of National Assembly. Thirty-one parties, ten coalitions and one independent candidates, or 31 contestants altogether, participated in the European elections.

A total of 270 contributions by natural persons were made for the June 9, 2024 early parliamentary elections, of which BGN 500,742.30 cash and BGN 9,561.55 non-cash. A total of 352 contributions were provided by candidates and members of nomination committees, of which BGN 457,550.14 cash and the equivalent of BGN 388,269.62 non-cash. 

A total of 39 contributions by natural persons were made, of which BGN 69,176 cash and none non-cash, were made for the June 9, 2024 European Parliament elections. A total of 51 contributions were provided by candidates and members of nomination committees, of which BGN 30,050 cash and the equivalent of BGN 123,488.38 non-cash.
