Bulgarian Consulate General in Thessaloniki Announces Interruptions of Public Services in August

Due to the introduction of an updated version of the national visa information system, the Consular Service at the Bulgarian Consulate General in Thessaloniki will interrupt its public services as follows:

  • The submission of visa applications from third-country nationals will be suspended from August 1 to August 18;
  • The submission and processing of applications from Bulgarian citizens staying abroad for the issuance of Bulgarian identity documents will be suspended from August 10 to August 18;
  • The certification and legalization of documents for Bulgarian and foreign nationals will be suspended until August 18.

The information has been posted on the website of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry. The Consulate General in Thessaloniki will continue to provide necessary assistance to Bulgarian and foreign nationals in emergencies and for humanitarian purposes.
