President Rumen Radev addressed Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Co-chair Delyan Peevski's earlier remarks, telling the press on Wednesday that he is unable to comment on other people's conspiracy theories.

He responded to allegations by Peevski that Radev was part of a scheme to replace National Assembly Chair Raya Nazaryan with a more compliant figure poised to become a caretaker prime minister and is responsible for the disintegration of MRF.

"Without a doubt, aspiring to govern an entire country while seemingly struggling to manage your own party would naturally induce nervousness," Radev said. "Do you not think that the media has been preoccupied with the personal anxieties and concerns of this gentleman for too long, trying to present them as a public issue? This is not a public issue but a personal drama that is naturally heading towards its conclusion," he added.

Radev, Caretaker Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov, and Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov attended the graduation ceremony at Sofia's Rakovski National Defence College, during which the Class of 2024 received their graduation diplomas.
