Toshko Yordanov from There is Such a People (TISP) spoke of the importance of finding common ground during a meeting with independent MPs, formerly of the Velichie parliamentary group on Tuesday. TISP highlighted the need for judicial reform and improved public access to the judiciary.

"We are seeking solutions to fundamental issues within the judicial system and changes to the Administrative Procedure Code and the Civil Procedure Code to facilitate citizens' access to justice," TISP’s Aleksandar Rashev said. He added that proposals are being made to amend the Judiciary Law to limit the powers of the prosecutor general.

TISP’s Stanislav Balabanov emphasized the importance of easing restrictions on conducting referendums.

The political discussions also centred on the appointment of members in the regulatory bodies.

Earlier on Tuesday, TISP and independent MP Krasimira Katincharova, representing MPs aligned with Ivelin Mihailov, from the now-defunct Velichie group, failed to find common ground to continue negotiations for forming a government with the third mandate.

TISP initiated discussions regarding the third exploratory mandate to form a government, engaging with non-partisan members of the 50th National Assembly, after President Rumen Radev tasked them with nominating a candidate for Prime Minister on Monday. TISP representatives confirmed that discussions with other parties and independent MPs commenced on the same day.
