site.btaDelyan Peevski Sends Complaint to Prosecution Service against MRF Co-Leader Dzhevdet Chakarov

Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) co-leader Delyan Peevski has sent an alert to the acting Prosecutor General against Dzhevdet Chakarov, the other MRF leader after his allegations about "massive audits" by the financial authorities and a meeting of the Finance Ministry and the National Revenue Agency, where the said audits were orchestrated.

In his alert Peevski "expresses concern" and calls for "establishing the facts and circumstances related to the possible unwarranted interaction and contacts between the respective authorities and politicians, as well as the creation of preconditions for the use of the institutions to attain individual political ambitions".

The National Revenue Agency put out a statement where it adamantly denied Chakarov's allegations and accuses him of trying to interfere in their work.
