French soprano Emma Shapplin will give a concert in Sofia on October 11 in the National Palace of Culture. "Soo happy and thrilled," she wrote on Facebook on the occasion of the upcoming event, called "Intimate Evening with La Diva des Anges".

A string orchestra, a band and a choir will take the stage with her.

Shapplin was born on May 19, 1974 in the southeastern suburbs of Paris. She is a singer, composer, and painter. Top directors are vying to be involved in the creation of her next show, organizers say. Her album Carmine is multi-platinum in 25 countries.
