Traffic is heavy at several border crossing checkpoints on Thursday morning, Border Police said on its website.

On the border with Romania, exiting truck traffic is heavy at the border crossing checkpoints Kardam and Durankulak.

Due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, a temporary traffic organization has been introduced using one lane and traffic lights.

In addition to Ruse, drivers in the region can also head to the checkpoints Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari.

On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. On the border with Serbia, entering car traffic is heavy at Kalotina.

On the border with North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

On the border with Turkiye, exiting car traffic is heavy at Kapitan Andreevo.
