site.btaVice President Iotova Optimistic about Third Mandate to Form Government

Taking part in a ceremony marking the 82nd anniversary of the shooting of poet Nikola Vaptsarov, Vice President Iliana Iotova told journalists that she remains optimistic that there will be a government with the third mandate.

Iotova pointed out that she hoped that as the Constitution provided, by decision of the political group that will receive the mandate, there will be negotiations, and eventually a government.

“The President will comply with the texts in the Constitution and within the 7-day period, he will hand over the third mandate and we will let you know to whom and when it will be handed over,” Iotova said.
