site.btaMONTFIZ Art Fest 2024 in Nessebar to Offer Free Acting Lessons for Students

Acting lessons and performances by theatre groups are among the planned activities of the MONTFIZ Art Fest 2024, said the organizers from the Youth Organization for Independent Theatre and Film Art (MONTFIZ) on Tuesday. 

The 15th edition of the art forum will be held from July 21 to 28 in partnership with Nessebar Municipality, which will be the host for the fourth year in a row.

During the art fest, workshops on acting, stage speech and movement, creative writing, as well as communication and presentation skills will be held with actors Niki Iliev, Bashar Rahal, Georg Kiryakov, Anastasia Lyutova and Dimitar Kasabov. Acting workshops for children led by actors Ivaylo Asparuhov and Alexander Yordanov are also planned. They will train children in the techniques and practices of acting, improvisation, stage speech and rhythm.

Consultations with Prof Penko Gospodinov and Dr Anton Ugrinov, both professors at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, will also give guests of the fest an opportunity for anyone who wishes to apply to the academy to become closely acquainted with acting.
