The turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) reached BGN 442 million for the first half of 2024, growing by 72.33% from the like period of 2024, and the number of trades increased by 32.52%, the trading platform reported on Thursday.
In June alone, the BSE turnover approximated BGN 86 million, up 27.72% from May. Trades last month totalled 7,500, which was 35.52% up from the first half of 2023 and 7.66% down from May 2024.
In June, the Top 3 Liquid Stocks were Sopharma AD with 616 trades, Shelly Group AD with 384 trades, and Bianor Holding AD with 301 trades.
In trading by BSE segment, the Premium Segment took up the largest share of 22.06% (BGN 18.79 million), followed by the Standard Segment with 21.25% (BGN 18.10 million) and the MTF BSE International Segment with 8.06% (BGN 6.87 million).
The Top 3 gainers according to the SOFIX index for last month were Sirma Group Holding AD, which gained 11.1%, Bulgarian Stock Exchange AD with 4.86%, and Advance Terrafund REIT with 3.21%.
The Top 3 losers according to SOFIX for June were M + 3 Hydraulic AD, which lost 7.41%, Agria Group Holding AD with 6.54%, and Shelly Group with 5.84%.
