site.btaSimeon Markov, Lukas Lukov Win Medals at Junior Weightlifting European Championships in Thessaloniki

Bulgarian weightlifters won two new medals at the European Championships for juniors up to 15 and up to 17 years in Thessaloniki, Greece, on Sunday. The medals were won by Simeon Maskov and Lukas Lukov. Thus, the awards for Bulgaria at the championships became 20 in total. 

Maskov  won a silver medal in the snatch 102 kg category in the u17 juniors. The athlete handled 162 kg. 

In u15 juniors, Lukov earned bronze in the snatch 102 kg category with a score of 94 kg.
