The members of Parliament elected on Thursday seven Deputy Chairs of the National Assembly. After voting en bloc, they took their seats next to the already elected Chair of the 50th Parliament Raya Nazaryan from GERB-UDF.

Rositsa Kirova was elected Parliament’s Deputy Chair from GERB-UDF, Yordan Tsonev from Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Atanas Atanasov from Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria, Tsoncho Ganev from Vazrazhdane, Dragomir Stoynev from BSP for Bulgaria, Andrei Chorbanov from There is Such a People, Victoria Vassileva from Velichie (Grandeur).

Earlier on Thursday, Velichie [Grandeur] leader Nikolay Markov took the oath as a member of the 50th National Assembly. On June 19, Markov was late for the inaugural sitting of the new Parliament, did not take the oath and left the debating chamber.
