Addressing the 50th National Assembly at its inaugural session on Wednesday, the acting leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Atanas Zafirov, said that "responsibility, reason, and dialogue are the three key principles" for the party in this parliament.

Speaking of this parliament’s mandate, he emphasized the importance of unity and constructive efforts, urging members to decide whether to continue with divisive actions or work together for progress.

Zafirov believes a new cycle of elections will deepen the crisis and delay problem resolution. BSP will prioritize open dialogue in the work of the National Assembly, he added.
