site.btaForeign Ministry to Fund Stay of 30 Ukrainian Kids in Golden Sands Resort

The Council of Ministers on Wednesday approved an extra BGN 32,640 to the 2024 budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The money will be used to fund the recreation of 30 Ukrainian kids who have lost a parent in Russia's war against their country. They will be accommodated in a recreation facility of the Domestic Diplomatic Properties Agency (ADIS) in the Golden Sands resort. The children will be accompanied by a teacher and a counsellor.

The humanitarian project is in keeping with Bulgaria's consistent and multi-level support to mitigate the grave effects which Russia's full-scale military aggression has had on Ukraine. The project will contribute to deepening Bulgaria's relations with Ukraine.
