The final meeting of the eSAT project took place in the media centre of Vidin municipality on Tuesday, said project coordinator Borislav Vankov. At the event, the participants were welcomed by Vidin Deputy Mayor Borislava Borisova, who stated that the municipal administration will continue to support such initiatives and projects.

The eSAT project (European Youth Strategy) is implemented by the People's community centre in Vidin under the Erasmus+ programme, jointly with related organizations from Slovakia, Romania and Hungary. The project has created a new free application for Android and Apple operating systems, which contains information about the possibilities of the European Youth Strategy.

"We had to train eight volunteers from each country to work together in teams on each chapter of the European Youth Strategy. In this way, they developed their narrative about how the relevant chapter of the strategy could benefit other young people", noted Vankov.

A comic book was created in the language of each of the participating countries and in English, which was distributed free of charge at the subsequent talks, conversations and meetings with young people. In Vidin alone, more than 400 young people have gone through these lectures, Vankov said.
