site.btaUPDATED Vazrazhdane "Far From Satisfied" with Election Results Despite Minimum Goal of 3 MEPs Achieved
At the Vazrazhdane party's first news conference after the June 9 elections, leader Kostadin Kostadinov said that they have achieved their minimum goal of three MEPs but are from satisfied. The party's election results repeat those from the previous elections, but Vazrazhdane are not satisfied because they have bigger goals.
The Bulgarian people gave a vote of no confidence in the Bulgarian parliamentary democracy, Kostadinov commented, and noted that all formations are losing votes.
According to him, there are two possible scenarios: the formation of a government that will postpone the inevitable end of those in it, or no government and new snap elections in October or November.
Vazrazhdane's main goal remains to prevent Bulgaria's entry in the ongoing military conflict in Ukraine, Kostadinov said.
