site.btaDechko Uzunov's Religious Monumental Art to Be Exhibited in Sofia

The exhibition "Dechko Uzunov. 125 years since the birth of the artist" will be presented on June 11 at the Dechko Uzunov Gallery, a branch of the Sofia City Art Gallery. The exhibition is part of a project of the same name, the organizers said.

"This exposition is the second part of the documentary series "Dechko Uzunov. Monumental Art". In the period June - September 2024, visitors will have the opportunity to see archival photographs, preparatory projects and works through which a visual narrative of this not so well-known side of Dechko Uzunov's work has been created," the team says.

The organizers note that after the exhibition dedicated to secular monumental art, the focus is now on religious art.
