site.btaTsarevo Starts Summer Season Smoothly After 2023 Floods, Tourism Minister Miloshev Says

Caretaker Tourism Minister Evtim Miloshev and Tsarevo Mayor Marin Kirov visited the sites in Tsarevo Municipality that were damaged the most in the 2023 floods, which partially destroyed the seaside resort’s infrastructure, the Tourism Ministry said in a press release on Monday. Miloshev said that Tsarevo has now started the summer season smoothly after successfully recovering from the disaster.

Kirov noted that the damage has been repaired and thanks to the restoration works, access to the beaches has been secured.

Miloshev added that the damage caused by the 2023 floods is currently not a problem for the summer tourist season. There is no problem with ensuring access to the various districts and parts of the town.

On September 5, 2023, Tsavero was hit by a flood caused by torrential rain in the coastal town. The disaster took four lives and caused serious damage to the infrastructure in the area.
