Bulgarian Science in Antarctica is the theme of the May issue of LIK magazine. A detailed presentation of it will be livestreamed on Thursday in BTA press clubs in and outside the country.

LIK magazine, a publication of BTA, provides a detailed account of the second voyage of the naval research vessel RSV 421, Sv. Sv. Kiril i Metodii, to the Bulgarian base in Antarctica and its subsequent return. The report highlights the scientific activities carried out during the 32nd Bulgarian Antarctic expedition. Key insights from the articles published during the second journey of RSV 421 have been compiled in LIK magazine.

The RSV 421 embarked on its voyage to the Bulgarian Antarctic Base on Livingston Island from the Black Sea port of Varna on November 8, 2023, marked by a formal ceremony. BTA provided comprehensive coverage of the ship's journey, its tenure on Livingston Island, and its subsequent return. BTA's special correspondent Emil Granicharov accompanied the expedition.
