Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev has ordered the removal of Boris Gerasimov as Deputy Transport and Communications Minister, the Government Information Service said Monday. Gerasimov himself requested to be removed from office.

He was appointed on January 31, 2024 by then transport and communications minister Georgi Gvozdeykov to be in charge of digitisation, digitalisation and communications. Back then, Gerasimov replaced Grigory Grigorov, whose results in the management of Bulgarian Posts were found unsatisfactory.
