Georgi Sospodinov and Angela Rodel will take part in Sofia's Spring Book Fair one year after Gospodinov's novel "Time Shelter" won the Booker prize, Janet 45 publishing house said.
The novel has already been translated into 30 languages. In addition to the major ones, the novel has been translated into Turkish, Greek, Polish and Romania,. The book is the first Bulgarian novel translated in Sweden after a 47-year break and will be published in Ukrainian, Chinese and Japanese.
A day ago Gospodinov and Rodel returned from London, where they attended the ceremony at which this year's International Booker prize recipient was announced. The two presented the prize to Jenny Erpenbeck for her novel "Kairos", Janet 45 said.
