site.btaParliament Dismisses Maria Filipova as Financial Supervision Commission Deputy Chair

Parliament dismissed in response to her resignation Maria Filipova from her post of Deputy Chair of the Financial Supervision Commission in charge of the Supervision of the Investment Activities Division. The decision was adopted with 109 votes in favour and 36 abstentions.

The item was included on the agenda of the legislature's extraordinary sitting on Tuesday.

The resignation of Maria Filipova was submitted on May 20, 2024, said Parliament Deputy Chair Rositsa Kirova, who also read out the notification letter, in which personal reasons were given by Filipova for her decision to resign.
