site.btaBulgartransgaz Selects Contractors for New Gas Transmission Infrastructure Expansion Projects

State-owned gas transmission operator Bulgartransgaz has finalized successfully a public procurement procedure for Spatial planning, investment design, supply of necessary materials and equipment, construction and commissioning of new sites for expansion of the Bulgartransgaz EAD gas transmission infrastructure aimed at increasing the capacities at the Kulata/Sidirokastro and the Negru Voda/Kardam interconnection points, the operator said in a press release on Monday. The public procurement procedure is being carried out in compliance with a decision of the National Assembly of March 14, 2024, regarding the initiative of the gas transmission operators of Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine and Moldova for a Vertical Gas Corridor.

The public procurement is divided into three lots with a total estimated value of BGN 586,669,410.00, VAT excluded and follows Bulgarian and European legislation.

The committee appointed by the contracting authority has ranked DZZD HILL INTERNATIONAL - GBS 1, DZZD HILL INTERNATIONAL - GBS 3 and DZZD NEGRU VODA KARDAM 2024 as contractors for the three lots.

DZZD HILL INTERNATIONAL - GBS 1 is an alliance group of two foreign and three Bulgarian companies: HILL International N.V., USA; GLAVBOLGARSTROY AD, Bulgaria; GLAVBOLGARSTROY INTERNATIONAL AD, Bulgaria; GBS Energy Solutions EAD, Bulgaria; GBS Technologies Inc., USA. The group’s subcontractors are: CRC-Evans B.V.; Emerson Automation Solutions; Honeywell; Ensol VM.

DZZD NEGRU VODA KARDAM 2024 is an alliance group of one Bulgarian and two foreign companies: DIVICOM INC., USA; Habau S.R.L., Romania; SА.I.Е. EOOD, Bulgaria. The group’s subcontractors are: Ensol VM and Chimcomplect Engineering.

DZZD HILL INTERNATIONAL - GBS 3 is an alliance group of three Bulgarian and two foreign companies: HILL International N.V., USA; GLAVBOLGARSTROY AD, Bulgaria; GLAVBOLGARSTROY INTERNATIONAL AD, Bulgaria; GBS Energy Solutions EAD, Bulgaria; GBS Technologies Inc., USA.
