Speaking to party supporters in Haskovo, GERB leader Boyko Borissov said he hopes that after these elections there will be political stability for at least 12 months. "For this to happen, however, we must have a clear lead on our opponents. … We need a better starting position. We have shown what we can do," he added.
In his words, GERB's priorities are security, joining the eurozone, education, innovation, culture, sport.
Borissov pointed out that the current government leaves a very heavy legacy. He explained that the coalition was needed to calm the country and the people, to have stability.
