1910: BTA launches "International Press Review." Renamed "Press Review" in 1914.
1948: New Varna airport is inaugurated at its present location, 9 km west of centre of seaside city. First flight, by converted Junkers 52, lands at 10:40 a.m., bringing VIP guests for occasion from Sofia.
