site.btaArtist Nadezhda Georgieva to Participate in Discussion at Goethe Insitut during European Night of Museums

Artist Nadezhda Georgieva and curator Vessela Nozharova will take part in a discussion with the audience at the Goethe Institut in Bulgaria during the European Night of Museums on May 18.

The event will follow the opening of an exhibition titled The Neurotic Ballet of Beauty and Destruction that will take place on May 17 at the same venue, the organizers said.

This will be Georgieva’s debut exhibition, in which she tackles her childhood memories and impressions from her first 14 years spent in communist Bulgaria. The artist also makes use of elements and situations from her life in Germany and from her work in the electronic music industry in the 1990s.
