site.btaRetail Trade Volume in March Up 1.2% in EU, Down 0.6% in Bulgaria

The seasonally adjusted retail trade volume in the European Union countries in March 2024 increased by 1.2% compared to February 2024, and in the euro area – by 0.8%, according to preliminary data from the European statistics office Eurostat published on its website on Tuesday.

In Bulgaria, the calendar and seasonally adjusted retail trade volume decreased by 0.6% in March 2024 compared to the previous month. In February 2024, an increase of 0.4% was recorded from January.

Compared to March 2023, an increase of 0.4% was recorded in retail trade in Bulgaria.
