site.btaPoor Mountain Hiking Conditions on Saturday

The weather conditions for hiking in the mountains are poor on Saturday, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA.  

It is raining in the high parts, there is fog and a snow cover of 5cm to 10 cm above 2,200 metres. 

In the mountains on Saturday it will be mostly cloudy and rainy, with snow above 1,800 metres. The showers will subside and stop by the evening. Moderate to strong northeasterly wind. The highs will be around 8C at an altitude of 1200 metres and around 3C at 2,000 metres above sea level.
