site.btaBGN 295 Million Provided for Agricultural Aid to Mitigate Effects of Ukraine War

The caretaker government has provided the necessary BGN 295 million leva for the payment of aid to farmers to mitigate the effects of the war in Ukraine.

The funds are allocated to support farmers in primary agricultural production - breeders of large and small ruminants and bee colonies, as well as producers of fruit and vegetables, oil rose, vines and tobacco, and to support farmers producing cereals and oilseeds. To this end, the caretaker government also adopted a decision approving  updated annual estimates of the European Union funds account of State Fund  Agriculture for 2024.
