site.btaBulgarian Language Summer Course Opens for Enrollment at University of Pittsburgh
A summer course in Bulgarian language opened for enrollment at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States, the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York told BTA. The consulate supports the Bulgarian-language training in this university.
The course will take place June 3 through July 12. It includes six weeks of language classes via culture, cinema, art and traditional cuisine.
The course is part of the programme of the University of Pittsburgh Summer Language Institute. This year, it offers courses in 11 languages: Arabic, Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian, Bulgarian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Turkish and Ukrainian.
The Bulgarian Macedonian National Educational and Cultural Center is the centre of a vibrant Bulgarian community.
