site.btaMinister Stoyanov Signs Order to Increase Basic Salaries of Employees in Interior Ministry Appointed under Civil Servant Act

Caretaker Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov issued an order to increase the individual basic monthly salaries of civil servants under the Civil Servants Act in the Interior Ministry, Stoyanov shared on Facebook. He announced this through a post on Facebook.

With another order, the Interior Minister increased by BGN 100 (to BGN 300) the food allowance for civil servants in the Interior Ministry.

The increase is in force retroactively from January 1,2024 and will be paid with the wages for the month of May 2024, Stoyanov pointed out.

At its last meeting, the Council of Ministers approved additional spending on the budget of the Interior Ministry and six other ministries. The goal is to overcome disparities in staff remuneration in budgetary organizations, including increasing staff remuneration, with the funds being provided at the expense of the planned costs of the 2024 budget.
