Sunny over Western Bulgaria, considerable cloud and rain showers over the eastern parts of the country. Cumulonimbus clouds and isolated rain showers are expected over Central Bulgaria in the afternoon. Highs: 16-17C in places in East Bulgaria, up to 26C in the far southwestern areas, about 20C in Sofia.

The Black Sea coast: Mostly cloudy with rain showers, especially along the southern coast. Moderate to strong north-northeasterly wind. Highs: 15-19C. Sea water temperature: 14-15C.

The mountains: Sunny over Western Bulgaria, with cumulonimbus clouds in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with rain showers over the Strandzha and Sakar mountains. Cumulonimbus clouds and brief rain showers in the afternoon over the rest of the country. Moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Highs: about 13C at 1,200 m and about 5C at 2,000 m.
