site.btaBulgarian Land Forces Unit Destroys Unexploded Ordnance Found in Sofia
A Bulgarian Land Forces unit has identified, removed, and destroyed a heavily corroded, unexploded ordnance, the Defence Ministry said in a press release on Saturday. The AN-M30A1 bomb was found on April 26 in the Vazrazhdane district in downtown Sofia.
The destruction of the ordnance was carried out by a unit under the command of Captain Borislav Manov at the Slivnitsa training centre in strict compliance with safety measures.
