By order of Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, Krasimir Yakimov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth, the government information service said.
Yakimov is a lawyer by education. He holds a degree in International Financial Law from King's College London, Dickson Poon School of Law. He served as chef de cabinet to the Minister for Innovation and Growth from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, he spent nearly ten years as a solicitor providing legal advice and representation to international and domestic companies in various aspects of their commercial activities, with a focus on corporate governance, debt and equity finance.
By another order of Prime Minister Glavchev, Nikolay Nikolov has been relieved of his position as Deputy Minister of Energy, effective April 25.
