site.btaCC-DB Co-Floor Leaders Sign Coalition Agreement to Run Jointly in Snap National, European Parliament Elections

Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) co-floor leaders Kiril Petkov, Asen Vassilev, Hristo Ivanov and Atanas Atanassov signed an agreement on joint participation in the upcoming 2-in-1 European Parliament and early Bulgarian Parliamentary elections, to be held on June 9, 2024, the coalition's press centre announced here on Tuesday.

CC and DB are running together for national elections for the third time in a row. The coalition has proven to be a sustainable format that unites the voices of the entire democratic community, the press release said.

On March 31, CC co-leader Kiril Petkov said that the list of CC candidates for the European Parliament elections had been adopted by the party's General Assembly. "We will run in the European elections together with Democratic Bulgaria," Petkov said after the congress CC held in Sofia.

As for their strategy for the upcoming European and national elections, he said that the CC– DB coalition must secure first place.
