site.bta100-Plus STEM Centres to Be Developed in Bulgarian Schools, Education Minister Says
The caretaker Minister of Education and Science Galin Tsokov reported here on Monday that the nationwide programme for the development of STEM centres is in its second phase, with more than 2,200 projects and concepts under review and more than 100 contracts having been signed. Seventeen schools in Varna are among the ones with such a contract.
The Minister said that the environment for developing STEM in Bulgaria will pick up the pace in the upcoming months. He added that it is essential for teachers to be able to use this type of technology. To this end, funds have been earmarked for the implementation of a project under the Education Programme, which envisages the training of some 38,000 teaching professionals across the country.
Tsokov said that the University of Economics – Varna is ready to offer qualification training courses for teachers to work with AI tools.
