site.btaOver 90 Films to be Screened at National Festival of Bulgarian Cinema

The National Festival of Bulgarian Cinema will take place from May 1 to May 13 at the Cinema House in Sofia, the organizers said. 

The forum will feature all films nominated for the 2024 Vasil Gendov Awards of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers, with over 90 feature, documentary and animated films from the past year.

Some of the titles include Blaga's Lessons, Chalga, Medium, Arcadia, The Reeds, Citizen Saint.

The screenings will be followed by talks with some of the cast and crew of each film. All  screenings are free of charge.

The Vasil Gendov Awards ceremony will take place on May 16 at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre
