Speaking to journalists in Parliament Friday, Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) co-floor leader Kiril Petkov shared the view that there is a secret coordination among GERB leader Boyko Borissov, MRF leader Delyan Peevski, and President Rumen Radev, and this coordination is now starting to fall apart.
According to Petkov, caretaker Foreign Minister Stefan Dimitrov, whom caretaker PM Glavchev suggested be replaced, "clearly does not have a Euro-Atlantic outlook" but on the contrary "raised the eyebrows" of many people when he spoke with pro-Russian rhetoric.
For his part, CC-DB’s Hristo Ivanov said that CC-DB cannot propose a foreign minister and the dialogue will continue between the President and the caretaker Prime Minister. The head of State claimed that he could not have any opinion on the composition of the caretaker government during the consultations, now there are no consultations anymore, and it turns out that President Radev has an opinion on the composition, Ivanov stressed. According to him, acting Prosecutor General Sarafov also has participation in this government and it is through the composition of the leadership of the Ministry of Justice.
At the moment, Peevski is programming an "assemblage" that includes himself, the prosecution service, the President, and circles around him, Hristo Ivanov said.
