The procedure is in line with the Constitution, and it is up the to the President whether to issue a decree, said caretaker Justice Minister Maria Pavlova responding to a question about the replacement of the caretaker Foreign Minister.
On Monday caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev proposed to President Rumen Radev to dismiss Stefan Dimitrov as caretaker minister of foreign affairs and the post to be taken by Daniel Mitov.
She also said that caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev has drafted a proposal under the procedure laid out in the Constitution and has stated his reasons.
"How they are defined by some - whether they are sufficient, whether they are acceptable and in general how they are defined is a matter of point of view," Pavlova further commented. “If the president refuses to sign the decree, the current minister will remain in the post.”
"This is a proposal and a procedure is envisaged. The proposal moves according to the procedure. I would not say it is a crisis, after all the Council of Ministers is not made up of one or two ministers. All the other ministers are in place and working," the caretaker Justice Minister said.
Pavlova participated in observances on the occasion of the Constitution Day, organized by the Union of Bulgarian Lawyers.
