An exhibition of Milko Bozhkov's paintings will be on display at the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) gallery in Sofia from April 18 to May 24. The exhibition is entitled P.S., the hosts of the event said here on Monday.
Milko Bozhkov addresses the viewers of his upcoming exhibition with just "P.S.". They are the ones who, post scriptum, after the artist's signature, will complete the work with their feelings and understanding, the organizers said.
Milko Bozhkov was born in 1953. He graduated from the Ilia Petrov National School of Fine Arts in Sofia in 1972 and in Painting from the National Academy of Art in 1978, in the class of Prof Dobri Dobrev. For years his studio has been in the village of Stefan Stambolovo, Varna Region (on the Black Sea).
He is the author of more than 80 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Germany. His works are in the collections of the National Gallery - Sofia, the Library of Congress - Washington, the Museum of Art - Portland, the National Library of France.
